From television. "Galentine's Day" is the 16th episode of the second season of Parks and Recreation, and it first aired on NBC on Thursday, February 11, 2010. In it, Leslie Knope explains her tradition: "Every February 13th, my lady friends and I leave our husbands and our boyfriends at home" for a breakfast together, which she sums up as "ladies celebrating ladies."
