The candle gave the basket its name: smoked amber in black glass, so it looks like a shadow on the table until it is lit. Amber is warm and resinous, and the smoke adds a trace of a bonfire. Truffles, salted caramels and spiced shortbread cover the sweet side, and the merino socks cover cold floors.

The card explains the boo: enjoy everything inside, then pass the boo along to a friend.

Every box includes a handwritten note, a keepsake box, tissue and ribbon. Packed by hand in Lynn, Massachusetts.

We built the Midnight Boo Basket as the grown-up version of a boo bag: black glass, chocolate and warm socks. It is for the friend who decorates for Halloween before anyone else on the street.
