Our Story

Exclusive Gift House makes signature gift boxes for the holidays people keep: Diwali, Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, Lunar New Year, Ramadan, Valentine's Day and more. Every box is packed by hand in Lynn, Massachusetts, on Boston's North Shore, and every holiday has an order-by date you can plan around.

Why Exclusive Gift House exists

A good gift does two things. It looks chosen for the person, and it arrives before the day it is meant for. Most gifting stress lives in the gap between those two. We built Exclusive Gift House to close that gap: finished boxes made for one occasion and one kind of person, a handwritten note inside, and a published date by which to order.

We also wanted boxes that respect the holiday they are for. A Diwali box should be vegetarian and alcohol-free. A Lunar New Year box should never hold four of anything. A Ramadan box should be something a host can set out at iftar. We check these details against sources from each tradition before a box goes on sale.

The founder

Exclusive Gift House was founded in 2026 by Emir, who is of Afghan heritage and speaks Pashto and Dari. That background shows in the boxes: saffron from Herat, dried fruit and nut tins, rose water and cardamom, and real attention to customs that sit outside the usual December calendar.

Our sister houses

Exclusive Gift House is one of three businesses Emir runs. Raihan Saffron sells premium Afghan saffron, hand-packed in Lynn, and supplies the saffron in our boxes. Raihan Rugs sells handmade Afghan rugs. All three hold to one standard for what carries our name.

How a box is made

  1. We start with one anchor. Each box is built around one piece that carries it: saffron, a cashmere-blend throw, a candle or silk. Everything else is chosen to go with it.
  2. We source from makers and licensed producers. Food arrives pre-packed and labeled by a licensed producer, with ingredients and allergens on the label.
  3. We check the details. Item count, dietary notes and holiday customs are confirmed before a box goes on sale, and each product page lists exactly what is inside.
  4. We pack to order in Lynn. Boxes are assembled by hand in small batches each season, most of them in a rigid keepsake box or trunk with tissue and ribbon.
  5. We write your note and ship. Your message goes on the note card by hand, a gift receipt without prices goes in the box, and the tracking number goes to your inbox.

The Gift House Standard

  • A handwritten note in every box. Tell us what to say on the product page, up to 200 characters, and we write it by hand.
  • Packed by hand in Lynn, Massachusetts. We assemble every signature box ourselves, to order.
  • Order-by dates you can plan around. Each holiday page shows the last day to order with Standard and Express shipping, and the full calendar lives on our order-by dates page.
  • The Make-It-Right Promise. If your box arrives damaged or incorrect, tell us within 7 days of delivery and we replace it or refund you.
