Every holiday we sell, the day it falls, the day we plan to deliver, and the last day to order with Standard or Express shipping. Dates are for US addresses and are in Eastern Time.

How we calculate the dates
Standard dates count back 7 business days from the deliver-by date: up to 2 business days for us to pack your box in Lynn, Massachusetts, and up to 5 business days in transit. Express dates count back 3 business days: 1 to pack and 2 by air. In late December, Express dates are set a little earlier to allow for carrier peak season.
Business days are Monday to Friday. We skip carrier holidays: Monday, October 12; Thursday, November 26; Friday, December 25; and Friday, January 1. The deliver-by date is the day we plan to have your box at the door, on or before the holiday.
Order on or before the date in your column and choose that shipping speed at checkout. If we ever cannot ship on time, we will email you with a new ship date and the option to cancel for a full refund.
Carrier deadlines we plan around
For Christmas 2026, USPS lists these last days to ship: Thursday, December 17 for USPS Ground Advantage, Friday, December 18 for Priority Mail and Saturday, December 19 for Priority Mail Express. FedEx lists Tuesday, December 22 for FedEx 2Day. UPS had not published its 2026 holiday schedule when we checked on September 29, 2026. Our order-by dates come earlier than the carrier dates because they include the time it takes to pack your box.

Weekend holidays
Hanukkah begins at sundown on Friday, December 4, and the eighth night is also a Friday evening, so we plan Hanukkah deliveries for Thursday, December 3, before the first candle and before Shabbat.
Valentine's Day 2027 falls on a Sunday. USPS delivers on Sundays only with Priority Mail Express, so we plan Valentine's and Galentine's deliveries for Friday, February 12.
Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr dates depend on the moon, so they are shown as expected dates. We plan Ramadan deliveries for Friday, February 5, before the first fast.
