Ordering and delivery
When do I need to order for a holiday?
Every holiday has two dates: one for Standard shipping and one for Express. For Christmas 2026, order by Tue, Dec 15 with Standard or Fri, Dec 18 with Express. All dates are on our order-by dates page and on each holiday collection.
How long does shipping take?
We pack your box in 1 to 2 business days, Monday to Friday. Standard shipping then takes 2 to 5 business days and Express takes 2. You get a tracking number by email when it ships.
Where do you ship?
We ship to addresses in the United States only. We do not ship food to APO or FPO addresses. See Shipping and Delivery for details.
Can you send the box straight to the recipient?
Yes. Enter their name and address as the shipping address at checkout. The box goes out with your handwritten note and a gift receipt that shows no prices.
Gift messages and packaging
How do gift messages work?
Add your message and your name in the gift options on the product page, up to 200 characters. We write it by hand on the note card inside the box.
How is each box packed?
Most of our boxes arrive in a rigid keepsake box or trunk with tissue and ribbon, at no extra cost. Each product page lists exactly what is inside, including the packaging.
Will the recipient see what I paid?
No. Every box ships with a gift receipt that shows no prices.
Dietary and ingredients
Where can I find allergen information?
Each product page has a Dietary and allergens section, and full ingredient labels from each producer are inside the box. Many boxes contain milk, soy, wheat or tree nuts, so please check before you order.
Do you sell alcohol?
No. Sparkling and spirit-style drinks in our boxes are non-alcoholic, 0.5% ABV or less, and labeled.
Are your boxes vegetarian, kosher or halal?
We use those words only when every label in a box supports them. Our Diwali boxes are vegetarian and alcohol-free, and our Ramadan boxes are alcohol-free with no gelatin. Email us before you order and we will share the label details for any item.
Corporate orders
Do you take corporate and client orders?
Yes, from 5 boxes. Volume pricing is 10% off at 5 or more boxes and 15% off at 25 or more, applied on your quote, and we add a logo card free from 10 boxes. See Corporate and Client Gifts.
Can you ship to many addresses and how long does it take?
Yes. Send a spreadsheet of names and US addresses with your quote request and we ship each box separately, with its own tracking. Lead time is 5 business days for boxes from our shop and 10 for custom boxes.
Returns and the promise
What is the Make-It-Right Promise?
If your box arrives damaged or incorrect, tell us within 7 days of delivery and we replace it or refund you. Email photos of the box and the item to exclusivegifthouse@gmail.com and we cover the cost.
Can I return a gift?
Signature boxes that contain food or drink are final sale, because we pack each one to order. Unopened, unused non-food items, including non-food add-ons, can be returned within 30 days of delivery in their original packaging. Items from our partner makers, marked "Ships separately from the maker," follow the same 30-day rule and ship back to the maker's address given in your return instructions. Other food, burned candles and personalized items are final sale too. If anything arrives damaged or incorrect, the Make-It-Right Promise covers it. See Returns and the Make-It-Right Promise.
E-gift cards
How does the e-gift card work?
Choose $50, $100, $150, $250 or $500. The Exclusive Gift House E-Gift Card arrives by email after checkout, so it has no order-by date, and it does not expire.
Our saffron
Where does your saffron come from?
Grade A saffron threads from Herat, Afghanistan, from our sister brand Raihan Saffron. Our March 2026 lot was tested by the Saffron Quality Control Lab, Herat Directorate of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock (Report 004389), and meets ISO 3632-1:2010 Category I on all tested parameters.
